Alba

They live on a planet called 'Acorn' which is a place you would describe as garden of Eden! The whole planet is full of rich flora and mostly populated by the humanoid tree/bush race of the Alba. 
You would also call it a magical place since that is what the Alba are specialized in. They call it 'Hora' and its like a magical energy that keeps their whole world alive. 
Every Alba has the power of 'Hora', it gives them the ability to heal and talk to each other without speaking a word. Their lifestyle is similar to the one of Native Americans.
They live in close touch with nature and stay away from technology that could harm the balance of their world. 

They have a Ritual that is called 'Aro' where young Alba get their heads cut of! This is in no way barbaric, because this is when Alba are giving the power to be able to use their 'Hora'
Through that power their heads still hover over their body and can not be removed! They are still connected to their body's through 'Hora'.

Alba grow Bushes out of their head and back. The fruits and berries they grow are eatable and very healthy. Like other plants Alba pass through different seasons by changing their foliage and look.
